GoTools recently sponsored local 75 year old Marathon Man Ray Matthews in his challenge to run 75 marathons in 75 days to raise money for Newman School in Rotherham.
QUOTE: “Newman is a community special school which offers a specialist range of provision to support children and young people with physical disabilities, medical needs and complex learning needs. The majority of our children and young people have a range of issues and combination of layered needs including autism and speech and language/ communication needs; learning; physical; medical; social emotional, and mental health as well as sensory needs.”
All money raised via sponsorship and donations goes towards providing a special soft playground for the students and the fundraising goal at www.donateplayground.uk is £75,000.
GoTools provided the sponsorship for Ray’s 38th marathon which he started from outside the GoTools building accompanied for the first few miles by Chris Normington and Kane Wasnidge and finished in the vicinity of Thrybergh Country Park.
